Emily Meier is a writer, editor, content creator, and social media consultant. 

As a freelance writer, she has assisted companies, small businesses, and individuals find their voice through press releases, social media outlets, and blogs. 

She has taught literature and writing at the university level. 

She is a graduate of Denison University (BA) and the Bennington Writing Seminars (MFA). 

Emily is a co-creator and co-founder of The Harbor Springs Festival of the Book.

Currently, her work can be found weekly in the pages of the Harbor Light Newspaper as the feature writer who covers everything from escaped cows to Pulitzer Prize-winning authors.

When she’s not out at the barn riding other people’s four-legged investments, she’s walking her dogs. Or, she’s diving into the piles of books that seem to multiply throughout her house. 

She resides in Charleston, South Carolina and Harbor Springs, Michigan.
